Background:
Aquarius (the Water Carrier), one of the constellations of the zodiac, is a large constellation consisting of many medium-bright stars.

Where is it?
Southern hemisphere observers will find Aquarius at their zeniths in late spring/early summer during the evenings. Due to Aquarius's conspicuous "bucket" shape, it is not too difficult to locate. It is difficult thought, to make ends of all its loose fainter stars. There is a region in Aquarius where you can easily get lost in the many scattered fainter stars!

Finding it:
Use a star map to either find Aquarius quickly by looking for the bucket shape or the "Jug", a group of 4 stars looking like a small "radio-active" symbol, of if you are a beginner, find the constellation of Capricornus first (a large triangular-shaped constellation with many stars making up its sides, almost looking like a Star-Trek Comm badge!) and move down the one side of Capricornus where Aquarius's "top star" Al Bali will appear (use star map!)
